Born in Thailand in a farming community as a buffalo girl riding, herding our water buffalos and keeping them out of the rice fields. As a young adult I ventured internationally and worked as the head of service for the Sultan of Brunei. There I learned the details of fine dining and hospitality. Now I find tremendous gratitude in serving the wonderful Madison Park community my home away from the humble beginnings of the Rice fields of Issan Thailand .
Duanchai Stantus — Mind to her friends and customers — is mixing her love of food and hospitality experience into her recipe for Bamboo Thai in Madison Park.
